I have registered for KVAT by paying the fees online. WE have just begun our operations but we dont expect to have business in the coming 6 months but, for registeration purposes we had to apply for VAT . Are we supposed to pay deposit amount to obtain VAT?

Deposit amount varies from state to state. If you are from karnataka i would help you
All the documents need to be submitted to VAT office based on the LVO you falls within 7 days from the date of online filling if not same will be rejected
We are from Bangalore
I has registered and following is the status :
Your Application is pending with Officer for assignment to Inspector.
Normally one would require VAT if the company crosses 5,00,000 annual turnover correct?
