KPO?

KPOs are nothing but a modified form of BPOs. As the External customer from US require BPOs to hire CAs for their work, but because CAs are unwilling to work in BPOs, they attract CAs by naming their Company as Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO). However the work is same in KPOs & BPOs.

I m CA.......can anyone tell me that which profile we can get in KPO/BPO.......is it worth to work there....what would be the best option to choose..industry/CA firms etc etc...plz suggest me...

If you say salary point of view. In starting there is handsome package they offer. But for future growth it is not good at all. It is same like a graduate works in Call Centres. Profile is similar as we do in Indian Company. But timing will be as per country for which you work and you have to follow their companies Laws. You will be given a project, where there will be training of companies internal system and laws. You have to brought all work in India as here will be outsourcing. As per Those companies indian professional can be hire at cheap rate so they start work of BPO. Working will be online

Kirti is right for some extent like handsome salary but i m not in agreement with Kirti that in KPO, Professional is doing call center work. I agree that in India there is no so high end work in KPO any where. You can take the Example of Infosys, Wipro, Genpect, IBM etc. No doubt that in KPO there is handsome salary package but future perspective as a CA it is not advisable to go to KPO because of kind of work that this industry have. If u want to go for equity research then Erevna is very good option. Equity research is a very good option for future perspective, specially for Shuchi. First of all keep in mind that BPO is entirely different from KPO. BPO is typical call center like data process, customer care but in KPO it is different. In BPO always there is time limit or other restriction to do the work, means strictness, during ur working hours u cant move from ur seat but in KPO there is no restriction but obviously time limit is there but no so strict as BPO. Be aware that like J P Morgan, City Bank and other reputed firm also have there KPO or BPO or Captive BPO center, so before selection of these big firm pls check the profile and make sure that profile is that which u r looking for.

can anyone whos is qualified and doing service in industry suggest me that MIS profile is gud in goldman sachs........is it worth to go there...and in JP Morgan,Morgan Stanley ,Deutche bank,citi bank ..in these companies which kind of profile we have to opt........
