Know the Status of Receipt of ITR V

 As you all know you have to furnish ITR-V form within the next 30 days to the Central processing cell at Bangalore if you filed income tax return electronically without digital signature.

ITR -V should only be send through Ordinary Post only. Speed post, Registered post and Courier are NOT acceptable.

How to know status of receipt of ITR V

The Income tax department has added a link at www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in by the name “E filing Processing Status” under My Account Menu.

To know your status :

1. Login to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in with your PAN and password.

2. Go to the “My Account ” tab

3. Click ” E- filing Processing Status”

4. In the screen Fill your ITR-V Acknowledgment Number and select Assessment Year

5. The Status of the IT return/ITR-V processing status shall appear
