This is for renewal purposes only but payment will be from different website

If turnover is less than 20lacs/ 40lakhs , Is PT registration is required?

There is no turnover limit for PT registration

All GST registered users in Karnataka must need PT employer registration by default

we have obtained GST registration 3 years back and recently we have received a notice from karnataka professional tax dept saying that we have failed to obtain PT registration & remit PT.

constitution of our business is sole proprietory.

how to respond to the above notice ?

kindly help me.

A data can be collected so in future new tax  can be implemented

Pay PT demand along with interest and close the issue by visiting PT department with a covering letter in duplicate
