You can find that option by following procedure:

2. My Computer

3. Select "Tools" in the main menu bar. Scroll down and click "Folder Options."

4. Press the "View" tab. Remove the check mark next to "Automatically Search for Network Folders         and Printers"

5. and click the "OK" button
   

6.  Now, Restart your system.

Hope it works. I haven't check it by myself on window 7 as its not available near by me.
