I m final student. My attempt is due in Nov,2010 as i m completing 2 yrs of my training in july, 2010. I m basically from Delhi so i dont have any option of transfer. Now, i have a serious family problem due to which i cannt go to office. i want to know whether my CA can Restrict my attempt if my leaves are more than the specified.
Plz help me ...............
As such, if he's a human being, he'll understand and won't restrict ur attempt and grant u such leave as illegal,...
Othervise, if he's a typical boss, then god bless u dear...

after giving exam U have to serve ur remaining period

if u are under the old system (i.e PE I & PE II) then you are not requried to complete ur CA articleship before the exams and as a result any excess leave can be served subsequent to exams and articleship...so in this case he cannot really stop you.
but if u r from the CPT/PCC batch, then u are required to compulsarily complete ur articleship bfore u r elegible to give exams. so in that case u dont have a choice..

The condition for appearing in the exam for Final if u are from PE-2 scheme (3 years of articleship) is that u should have completed two years of articleship before 31st oct for the November attempt.
Since u have said that u'll completing two years by july 10.U'll be eligible for appearing in Nov exams.The excess leave taken by you more than prescribed by ICAI will have to be served in any case. U can appear in november provided u have completed two years of articleship before 31st oct.

It mean i can appear in exams in Nov, 2010 and serve the extended period after that.
