I have downloaded the form ITR2 from Income tax deptt site. Under CG (Capital gain) column B1b i) and ii) it asks for cost of aquisition without indexation and cost of improvement without indexation. I think the information should be with indexation for i) and ii) both. The same form for manual filing under the same column asks for the cost with indexation. Kindly let me know whether my view point that cost with indexation is to be filled in form ITR2 even for efiling.

Hello Chaturvedi ji,
It is showing with indexation only in column B 1b(i)(ii) that is of long term capital gain from sale of land and building where you claim deduction u/s 48.
please check it again, you might have seen that of short term capital gain.
please follow the attached path https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/ download ITR-2 and try again.
