Itr1 or itr2 for dividend from stocks

Hi
I have received some amount in my bank account regarding the dividend from stocks .
So should I file ITR1 OR ITR2 ?
I usually file ITR1 earlier.
I am new to ITR2.

Quick Summary
If you've received dividend income from stocks and haven't sold any shares during the financial year, you can generally continue to file using ITR 1. Dividend income is typically reported under Schedule OS in ITR 1. If you've engaged in share trading or have other complex income sources, you might need to consider ITR 2.

ITR 1 if only dividends. Sch OS dividend.
File ITR 1
Thanks for your reply
Your welcome
If there is no sale of shares during the year, than you can file ITR 1
