ITR STATUS TRANSFERRED TO AO

This will go to your local AO as there must be some earlier issue pending that affects this years assessment. You need to wait for an update from the AO.

It's already more than 1 year since th ITR for FY 2013-2014 was filed but have not recieved any information from IT Dept other than the status that it is transferred to AO.

Pardon my ignorance, what is an assessement order ? I didnt recieve any notice or order from IT DEPT for AY 2013-2014. I can see the ITR status of AY 2013-2014 as ITR PROCCESSED..

Did you get any further updates regarding your status "Transferred to AO"? As, I too see a similar status for AY 2015 - 16.

Your itr for at 2013-14 is getting processed. It has actually not processed. 

@ Suren - You have to go to AO and follow up for refund. Normally if Refund is more than 1 lakh and it is not justified from records in return then they send it to Jurisdiction AO. 

No S. Shiroor. Not mandatory. It may be the case may be chosen by ao for processing to be done through jurisdiction and not through cpc
