Itr refund failed in pre validated account

My ITR for FY 29-29 has been successfully processed. But the refund is not getting credited to my account which is already pre validated. I received a failure intimation showing "PAN name not matching with account name". How is it possible for a pre validated account.  CPC help desk executives are not able to help me. Any suggestions?

Raise grievance with scanned copy of bank statement and PAN card copy, matching the name in both.

Thanks for your reply. I already raised grievance. Don't know when it will get resolved. By the way if account is validated how is it possible that name in PAN and bank account is different?

Same issue with me. Refund failed in Pre validated account with same reason. Not sure what to do. Even new account is not getting added. CPC saying they cant add Axis Bank Account. I have to wait

What exactly CPC told told you to do. They told me to raise refund reissue request. I did the same with my pre validated account. Again it failed. They told they were working towards a solution. And Yes, New accounts are not being added. I tried to add two accounts. All of them are in verification pending status for last two days.

Axis bank is not integrated with e-filing web site. You are requested to wait for some time to get response from the banker and you may pre-validate other bank detail s integrated with e-filing website. N ote: Only Punjab National bank, United B ank of India, SBI, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Allahabad Bank, HDFC Bank, Sa raswat Bank, Syndicate Bank, IDBI, Canar a Bank, Central Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Andhra Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Bank of Baroda,UCO bank and Uni on bank of India, United Bank of India.

I have tried Andhra Bank but that also got rejected. May be due to "AND" instead of "&" in Bank name and PAN mismatch.

I am not sure why they are harassing if the PAN is already linked in Bank records.

If bank is not integrated with efiling portal then it may take some more time to get pre validated. But sooner or later it will get pre validated I guess
You are correct sir they gave me same reply.
Ultimately after rigorous follow up and upon complaining on Govt of India Public grievance portal I got the refund. It implies that "pan name not matching with account name" is an error from CPC side.

If CPC call center executives fail to resolve your issue, lodge a complaint directly on Govt of India Public grievance portal. https://pgportal.gov.in/.

I am also facing the same issue, can you provide details about the process you followed to rectify the issue.

Call CPC helpline number and tell the executives that you want to talk to a senior. They will arrange a call back from a senior team member, Generally senior executive will call you within 48 hours and he will raise the issue to cpc backend team.In my case they could not help me and kept saying that I have to contact to my bank and bla bla. Finally I raised a complaint against CPC in Government of India Public grievance portal. Public Grievance dept instructed CPC to rectify the problem and they did it. The whole process took almost a fortnight time.
