ITR Password - Aadhar linked OTP Removal

For doing the ITR efiling process, my online agent is insisting me to remove the  Aadhar link /OTP option to login the efiling portal.  Whether it is secured or safe to do like that?

Their reason is doing with ITR U multiple logins required and so for better login and easiness to work, I need to remove the OTP option.

Many of my friends are telling that it is not necessary and once they logged in they could keep it as logged in for long time by tapping some options especially for agents ......

Please advice me on this matter.

Your online agent may be suggesting this for ease of use, but it's crucial to verify whether their recommended approach complies with the official guidelines of the Income Tax Department of India.

Your ITR representative is asking this for ease of doing his work so that everytime he need not to call you for providing OTP. I think you should remove the same till ITR filing. Once ITR filed, you may again set default OTP.
