Quick Summary
If you have successfully e-verified your Income Tax Return (ITR) using Aadhaar OTP, there's no need to send a physical copy to the CPC in Bangalore. E-verification is a valid alternative to the traditional acknowledgment signing and sending process. The discussion also touches upon the time taken for return processing and how to claim HRA rebate under Section 10(13A).
E verification stands for Electronic Verification. Signing Acknowledge and sending it to CPC is also a type of verification. One among these 2 is to be done as verification. Thus is ITR is verified through Aadhar OTP, no need to send it to CPC, Bangalore.
