ITR form after closing a business

I'm filing ITR3 so far against the Proprietorship firm that I handled.

But, during previous FY ie., 2022-23, I surrendered the firm's GST and I have filed ITR3 again for that FY ie.,2022-23 (AY2023-24). Further, as per AIS for the current AY 202425, the GST details are not shown.

Now, my query is, now onwards which ITR form I should use ITR1 as I don't hold any business incomes or do I have to continue filing ITR3 only by removing it's sections?

Yes, you can file ITR 1.

Hope you would have cancelled GSTIN.

You don't need to file ITR3 if you have no business income now. Let me know if you have any questions.
