Dear All,

Good Afternoon..........

I Have small Clarification regarding ITR filing.Could Please give me your valuable suggestions.

We have supply water tanker to govt depts, they are deducting TDS in this scenario we have to file ITR-1 or ITR-4. Actually Im individual , so I don't have any registrations and I had occurred some expenses for supply of water how can i show that expenses and incomes form tanker.

I Have PAN and total gross receipts 5,00,000/- only.
TDS Deducted Nearly 10000/- amount.this amount will be refunded i think.
hw can i proceed can u guide me.
i have registred in incometax efiling as a individual there showing ITR-1 and ITR-4S..where should i file the return.

Check under which section have they deducted TDS. I think it will be 194C. You may file ITR-4.

Here's the solution

1. In order to FIle Income TAx Return you Need to Have a PAN number

2. In your case ITR-4 Is applicable.

3. Calculate your Gross Receipts from Such Business, if your receipts Exceeds Rs. 1 crore then you must get the accounts audited. In case the Gross Receipts is below Rs 1 crore you can Opt to Pay tax on 8% of Gross Receipt (Sec 44AD).

4. Further discussion would follow once you calcutate your Gross Receipts.
