ITR for sale of property

I am salaried person and regularly filing ITR -1. Last year i.e. FY 2019_20, I sold my Flat without any capital gain. I want to know that it is necessary to show my sale details in ITR. I also want to know which ITR is required to file in current situation.

Quick Summary
If you've sold a property, even without making a capital gain, it's important to declare the sale in your Income Tax Return (ITR). For salaried individuals who have sold property, it's generally recommended to switch from ITR-1 to ITR-2. This ensures all financial transactions are accurately reported to the tax authorities.

Being salary person you file ITR 2 and yes necessary to show the sale details btw how you know you don't have capital gain n all
