Quick Summary
A retired doctor, no longer practicing and with no professional income, is seeking advice on which Income Tax Return (ITR) form to use. Their only income sources are interest from Fixed Deposits and monthly withdrawals from a Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) in mutual funds. The discussion confirms that ITR 2 is the appropriate form for this scenario, even with a gross total income of around £6 lakhs.

File ITR 2.

Ok

Many thanks sir

Regards

Dilip
