HI CCI members, can anybody help regarding this issue.

ITR for AY 2010-11 was filed and eligible for refund, but all documents supporting(retutn copy, acknowledgement) that return for AY 2010-11 was filed were missing, hence date of return was unknown. ITO is asking date of filing of return to process the refund.

In this situation how can I claim for refund. Is there any solution for this issue.

Please help me.

U CAN DOWNLOAD THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND RETURN FILED FOR A.Y. 2010-11 FROM THE INCOME TAX SITE.

You can view the status online on incometaxefiling.gov.in. All the returns filed from Ay 2007-08 is available.

Don't worry... go to Income tax website and check your return status by mentioning your PAN No. and A.Y. 2010-11. Your original ITR and Refund status all are uploaded on the website. Download your required documents.

Check weather it was done online or offline Go to incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and download the acknowledgement from there. If done manually, go to your jurisdictional income tax ward and ask your details from the staff or else they will guide you how to get that. if you have file manually, your data must be in the computers of income tax.
