For companies, it is always 30/9/20XX unless the due sate is extended like in the AY 2017-18 it has been extended upto 31/10/2017.
For enterprises it needs to be checked whether they are under audit or not and the due date is decided accordingly.

Tax Audit Case :
AY 17-18 extended to 31st October 2017...
Other than Audit Case : 5th August 2017..... Also we can file belated return Upto 31st March 2018....
