You should carry forward such losses

For one Company we tried as loss carried forward but we received defective notice stating that loss cannot be carried forward.

No, you cannot carried forward your losses if return is not filed on time.

So how to show in ITR utility 2019 as not carried forward does anyone have a solution? Please suggest a remedy

You can manually fill the carry forward column as zero. Try it if it works

I tried entering zero & saved it as X M L. but on opening the X M L file, the carried forward loss amount is shown as original amount of loss & not zero.

You should try with the software or take the help of expert it's better.

I have received the bill dated 05/04/2021 for freight charges which is pertaining to 2020-21.Now I want pass provision entry for the freight charges for 2020-21 with tds effect.
is the below entry is correct?

Dr.Freight charges -Rs.100/-
Cr.TDS- Rs.2/-
Cr.Expense Payable (not party)-Rs.98/-

or

Dr.Freight charges -Rs.100/-
Cr.TDS- Rs.2/-
Cr.ExpensePayable (not party)-Rs.100/-
Dr.Party A/c -Rs. 2/-

please clarify which is correct entry with reason for the correct entry.
