Itr 3 java utility error

Following two errors are being encountered persistently while validating ITR 3:

1) "Please enter the amount in 'Gross Amount' field.

2) "Please select the drop down of head of income for which corresponding income offered".

Am not able to locate exactly how to rectify the error. Neither is the utility showing the location of error pointed out.

If anyone has faced similar problem and worked out a solution, please reply and share.
