Itr 3 filing for partner in a firm

1060 views 1 replies

Dear Members,

I am a partner in a firm that is not subject to Tax Audit. I am not carrying on any other business or profession and my income is from the partnership firm. For the AY 2017-18, my income from the firm was Rs.1,80,000/-, for the AY 2017-18, it was Rs.1,30,000/-. Am I supposed to prepare Balance Sheet and P&L account in ITR 3? Or should I file under "No accounts case"? I don't have any proprietorship income, business expenses, assets etc.

Where should I show the income I received from Partnership Firm. The ITR 3 is confusing, please help.

Thank you.

Chandana
