Itr-3 filing error

Dear All,

I Was trying to File ITR-3 return through XML File upload option. While filling the General Information under PART-A, 

For the below question, the drop down menu (Wherein I have to Select Yes / No), the option is protected and is not enabled to select due to which I'm unable to Validate the same.

"Whether you are Director in a company at any time during the previous year? If yes, please furnish following information"

Does any one knows how to resolve this error, please let me know.

Check the Java version on your system, it should be JDK8, not higher. That should resolve your problem.

I have also got the same error using Excel Utilities. Anyone got any resolution?

Check if you have Macro enabled MS-Office Excel, with .Net Framework (3.5 & above); on your system.

Use latest version of the utility released on 01.08.2019 at incometax-efiling site.

Check if you have Net Framework (3.5 & above); on your system.

Yeah I do, other macros work like validate and everything, only that field is blocked. Anyways I filed using Java utility

Suggestion: Always fill 'general information' [PAN, Residential status etc.] to get activated related fields.
