ITC ON FREE ITEMS
CAN I CLAIM ITC ON GOODS WHICH WERE GIVEN FREE TO COSTUMERS ON PURCHASE OF WORTH CLOTHES 3000

No Sir you cannot claim ITC on goods distributed as Free Samples, Gifts, disposed off or written off, as it is specifically BLOCKED under Section 17(5) clause (h) of the CGST Act 2017. You need to reverse the ITC on these goods.
On free sample there is no itc
U/S 17(5) of GST act 2017, ITC on taxes paid on goods written off or disposed by way of gifts or free samples is specifically blocked.
