This discussion clarifies the process of claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC) on a computer purchased for office use. It explains that while the full ITC of Rs 9900 can be claimed, it should only be done after the credit reflects in your GSTR2B. Ensure all conditions under Section 16(2) of the CGST Act are met, including having a valid tax invoice, receiving the goods, and the supplier depositing the GST. Additionally, the credit must not be restricted under Section 38 of the CGST Act.
