Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether Input Tax Credit (ITC) can be claimed on equipment used in a hotel's attached restaurant. Generally, if the restaurant is considered a non-specified area with a 5% GST rate, ITC is not claimable. However, ITC may be permissible for food supplied in hotel rooms, subject to specific GST rules.

Only outdoor catering or resturant inside five star hotel can claim ITC now
