Quick Summary
A plywood manufacturer is seeking advice on whether they can claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) when a vendor bills them for royalty reimbursement on sand and minerals used for equipment foundations and civil works. While initial advice suggested it might be possible, further clarification indicates that ITC is generally not allowed for construction works, potentially making this claim ineligible.

Yes you can still claim

Your query is not clear Mr/Mrs/Ms 970477....

Generally ITC not allowed for construction works.

so, here You are mfg of plywood... right.

Ineligible Items for ITC

ITC cannot be claimed on the following:

Goods and services purchased for personal use

Goods and services exempted from GST

Goods and services used for making exempt supplies

Goods and services used for making supplies of goods and services that are subject to reverse charge

I think as per Mr Raja PM you fall into this category. Sorry about my first answer
