Dear sir / madam -
My 2012-2013 efiled return is always appearing as "Transferred to Jurisdictional AO for processing". I have received no response from them and they keep saying same reason as under processing. It is now 2016-2017. I would like to know if there is any time limit for process and send any notice / demand / scrutiny now as it is 5 years now.

The time limit for income tax notice u/s 143 (2) is 6 months from the end of the year in which the return has been filled.
and for notice u/s 142(1) it can be issued for not greater than past 3 years
So you have not to worry.
