Yes Mr. Jain, for refund you must fill the bank account details, it will be send directly to your account by way of ECS, if they send Cheque / DD they mention account no. along with name of assessee..

you may also choose for cheque ..... In our town MICR code is not still available for banks... that's why we are choosing cheque option..... but i think, it is compuslorily put MICR code of banks in cities....

Sorry, seems I did not make clear in my last post. I just wanted to ask, do ITR forms provide proper columns to fill bank details, MICR code, account detail etc? Where can I get a copy of ITR forms (I know TIN-NSDL system will present a copy of ITR form to fill it but I want to see an ITR form to understand what needs to be filled in an ITR form). Thank you. Yes There are certain column where you have to mention MICR Code A/c No. etc.
