Coaching:

Dear Friends , the course of financial reporting not that tough. The main topics in this are:

Amalgamation and Corporate Restructuring

Holding Companies Accounts

Valuation

Accounting Standards & Guidance Notes

The above chapter cover upto 80% marks in the exams. This may be done by Self Study although i have done a coaching of Accounting Standards.

Imp. Topic From Exams Point of View:

Guys , the pattern of examination questions may be changed by institute any time ... this purely depends on your luck ...:

Holding Company (20 Marks) [Chain Holding and Problems on Disposal of Shares, Normal Questions may be asked]

Accounting Standards (50-60 Marks) [AS 16, 17,20,26,28 are very very important, others are also given weightage]

Amalgamtion and Other Topics (20-30 Marks) [In this theory questions are also asked]

May this help you for your preparation .... Dont forget to cover up Suggested Answers Compiled by ICAI, Because mostly the same questions may be repeated in upcoming exams.... Best of Luck ..

Pattabhi Ram (ICAI has recommended this book)

Aashish Kalra (Aashish Kalra is a faboulous leturer for CA Final FM  and his book is just fantasic ... I m studying from this}

Coaching:

Guys, from my point of view, Financial Mgt is the only subject which need expertise knowledge for exams and for our practical life tooo .... Hence, i recommend that the coaching for Financial Mgt may be done ... Me going to start coaching of FM in inodore (Tarun Mahajan Sir) ...  I will try to create a soft copy of his notes and make available to u guys.Now a days , SFM is the scoring subject in Group I so be prepared for it.

Important Topic From Exam Point of View (This subject is just not limited for our exams .. in practical life this subject has maximum contribution for our success .. So kindly understand this subject conceptualy):
