is it compulsory for partnership firm to file income tax return?but I know a partnership firm not filing Income tax return for last 10

Quick Summary
Yes it is mandatory for partnership firms to file IT returns.
But l know a firm not filing return for 10 years...no notice came till now
Then the firm was lucky to not to receive any notices.. but do remember that the wind doesn't flow in One Direction alone every time
