Isca - i hate

I have started to think it is important to mug up,atleast isca. I had done PM and Madaan and got 39, now I have brought manish vallecha just to mug up points.If it doesnt  work for me now,I am going to himalayas. So someone gotta help me out too please.

Hi...  the approach of studying the subject is very important. ISCA is not at all tough and rememering points is must because if they see that point is written they wont read from inside.  just go n mug up the points in a smatter way. Start wid chp -1 and from dere go 2 chp -7. then start chap -2 n du it in break up wid chp - 5,6&9. then go 2 chp- 8 where u just study few impotatnt thin rather than goin 4 d whole chp coz its tough chp. then go 4 chp. Now chp 10 and 3 is left. from chp-10 leave all the penalties part as it will never come as per me. chp - 3 again go 4 slective study...

jst summarise he points of all chpters separately so dat b4 xam it will b easier 4 u 2 revise..

I think to crack this subject,we should get thorough with all the topics,not leaving anything from whole syllabus. I made a mistake of leaving SDLC which I guess backfired.This time I will not make this mistake atleast.

As per my personal experiance, if you are putting your word in exam, you will not get marks..

 

You hav to mugup atleast, headings.

I cleared this May by justs putting headings (55 in ISCA). No explanation in many answers.

In ISCA, we think, we understood well, but at many points, we are wrong (atleast I accept, I was wrong) and some problem may be with checking department. Those who are examining answer sheets, may not be well knowledgeble about the subject, and they want Study Material headings.

 

So, go with my notes., they are covering entire subject (except some chapters, which covers 15% syllbus and marks). So notes are about for 80-85 marks.

Any solution through understanding. like focusing more on chaps of understanding like of Risk Assesment, ITAA, etc

I was also having the problem with isca. but this subject is th most scoring subject of 2nd Group. so mug up all headings as given in the book. i did the same using manish valechha n cracked all papers of the second group by scoring 68 in isca.

preeti just learn the selective key words ,heading and sub heading.

is that any approach wherein few chap ill mug up but truly few  chapter wd less mugging up and more marks coverage 

hi... If today i m not a CA its only because of ISCA.....my problem is same as u......I discussed it with my friends who got good marks they had to said that write precisely about what qusn is demanded, ur answer should 't be too long.....try to draw charts/diagrams.....to be mugged up all is neither important nor its possible...try to remember the headings nd sub points nd explain it in ur own words..........still we dont get good marks than blame on teachers who r unable to understand our feelings :-D....

If you can mug up some topics,then this approach can be followed.

One of My Fav Sub Was ISCA….Not in CA Final Only, I Mean Since My Secondary Education When Computer Subject Entered in Our Curriculum…

U don’t need to mug up….

U just understand concept….i men correlate the terms with ur practice exposure in computer…..

like u just put here any line….i will get u the logic behind that line…..

Cramming Approach may or may not help u to pass.if ur luck is good u may pass,rather no matter if u take time...try to understand the subject ,refer some good Foreign authors book for increasing the understanding level.Eventually no doubt ull pass...just it may take an extra attempt...but success is assured.

PS:i ve heard subject is sick but this is my view.
