can you send to mail

Actually buddy i m here 2 help u to manage ISCA but only once u take efforts 2 start it... i m here , to explain u the chapts n  solve ur doubts.... So, once u start n if u have any kind of issues .. u can contact me..

Starting with Chapter 5:

1. Considerations in analysing risk:

Point 8: Determing the exisiting and required redundancy levels.

2.  Assumptions :

Every potential threat should be assumed to be localised to the facility being rated.

Please explain the underlined stuff.

Thanks

1. Risk involves vulernability assessment wherein we are suppose to assure ourselves about the control and mitigation measures in place. To meet our tolerance limit / assurance level, to what extent there should be redundancy in our activities and what is the existing redundancy in the same. e.g. No. of cross checks required and actual no. of cross checks present.

2. When we are rating the security level of an Information Processing Facility, we must assume that all the potential threats capable of causing harm to that particular IPF are identified, applied and their respective effects are quantified to that particular facility. e.g. in a hypothetical test a facility is tested for fire, flood, earthquake, etc.

Hope I helped...

Chapter 4

All help shall be appreciated.

Hey S,

I downloaded your doubts sheet.. I appreciate ur doubts but the point i m trying to make out that, ISCA is subjetc where u need not be IT professional. To understand each n every word.. The key to sucess for ISCA exams is that they do not check the core part of the answer but you have to just remeber the main point of the answer i.e the Heading ... They don't expect us write a exams based on ur computer knowledge...  The main point is to try remember the heading n the no of points should not be cut down ....
