Is TV show anchoring a profession?
Can TV show anchor claim the gross receipts or income from anchoring as profession u/s 44AA?

I think the anchor is profession so income can be claimed u/s 44AA
A paid occupation, especially one that involves prolonged training and a formal qualification, so it can be said as profession. Subject there is no employer employee relationship.

Profession include vocation as per sec 2 of IT ACT 1962 and vocation include artist singer eyc and anchor too
