Is this ok???

Dear All

We all put our best efforts to crack CA exams right? But sometimes our institute takes its very normally while evaluating our exam papers.

I have seen a number of cases of wrong totalling/non evaluation/carry forwarding of marks etc wihch caused failure of a CA student....but "isme student kyun bear kare"???

I remember a case wherein C.A final student got CA degree only after reverification of his marks(due to wrong totalling)....OMG! means if he does'nt go for this ...."shayad woh aaj bhi final ki books read kar raha hota"

So this is really a serious matter for all those students-- "jo apni failure accept karke baith jaate hai just due to negligency of institute"

Thanks!

It's a system base question. No one can change anything. If we get technology for checking papers like MCQ then and then this problem can be solved. Don't be negative..everything is not in our hand..something has to accept.

Kumar sir, no system in the world can be cent percent fool proof. There will be some lacuna or the other, but that does not mean institute has not taken any steps to correct past mistakes. Yes, earlier there might have been gross mistakes on the face of it, but institute has initiated some remedial action by appointing CA's as checkers. This might at least erase glaring mistakes which otherwise was apparent on record. If your question whether these are sufficient, the answer is no. The changes can not happen over night, good people should get into the system to bring in radical changes, so that reforms will quell doubts raised time and again. Agree with the comments made by Bhargav sir.

I accept the view of Mr.Kumar, ICAI may take steps against this but when it is going to be cured I think for this we will not get solution even in next decade........

See our Indian law itself doesn't wish to punish even 1 person wrongly though the 100 person are missed from   then How ICAI can be able to do................................

I think we have to give solution and thro' continuous debat with BOS only solution will come it is not in one right person alone...

Totally agreed with you S.Aswath.

Format of reporting discrepancies to ICAI in certified copies.
