ATLAST WE CAN COMPETE WITH ICAEW AND OTHER TOP FINANCE INSTITUTES. ITS GOOD WE ARE GOING GLOBAL.NOW INDIAN CA'S WILL BE EQUIPPED WITH IFRS WHILE PREPARING FOR FINALS.THIS IS HOW WE WILL BECOME INDUSTRY READY.

Bad news- ISCA paper will be dropped from the syllabus of final And IT paper will also be amended. 

BIGGEST FOOLS ARE THOSE WHO UNDERMINE THE IMPORTANCE OF ISCA.EVERYTHING IS ON CLOUD THESE DAYS.FUTURE IS CASHLESS ECONOMY.CURRENCIES LIKE BITCOINS ARE HOT ISSUES.INFORMATION SYSTEM IS THE ESSENCE OF THIS NEW WORLD ORDER. BIGGEST BLUNDER EVER WILL BE DELETION OF ISCA.ALL THESE SHENANIGANS JUST BECAUSE ISCA IS TOO BORING & HARD TO SCORE.

ISCA is a core subject in all the CA, CPA, CMA courses abroad.

The developed countries are way ahead in the field of ISCA.

This is a hot field. If CA's will leave this field. CMA and other finance courses will take advantage.

Its a theory subject but its you who can make it practical. If you have knowledge about practical issues you will be valuable for any employer.

We have to look beyond books. Use of Internet is invaluable. 

How many of CA students know about KIMDOTCOM, The case of Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, The revelations of Wikileaks, The latest cyber war between USA and North Korea over the movie " The Interview", The closure of Piratebay, The NSA revelations.

To understand these events, knowledge of Boring ISCA is of utmost importance.

If you can flaunt knowledge about these events, your competitive advantage will go up.

This is how IIM grads prepare. And we CA students are still thinking what is the use of ISCA.

If ISCA is dropped from the CA Final course curriculum it would be great cause it is the subject in which is not useful in our CA field. Any person who is interested can persue DISA or CISA. Also, the points mentioned by Mr.Hammad Rashid are relevant but were not properly covered in ISCA. Also, that ISCA is purely theory based. Some of my friends have cleared ISCA by scoring 70 + marks, they tell that to clear ISCA you need to learn things by heart and use the module language while framing your answers in paper.
