Is this enough to get a rank??

I am planning to give IPCC 2nd attempt in MAY 2014 and I am seriously looking forward to get a rank..

1. I had taken science stream till my 12th. (Have done accountancy only for CPT and B.com(H)1Yr)

2. I study 13 to 14 hrs per day.

3. I have attended classes for TAXATION and will be attending classes for Accountancy, adv accountancy, Cost accounting and FM (online tutorial) (so, no travel time involved)

4. I have also finished my preparation for LAW, AUDIT and IT SM.

5. I am very good at maths.

6. Planning to revise for at least 5 times.

7. I am doing doing B.Com (H) through corresspondence.

Books referred (Other than the study material of ICAI) :-

Accounts : PC TULSIAN

Law : MUNISH BHANDARI

COST FM : PC TULSIAN

Tax : MY COACHING NOTES

ADV Accounts : PC TULSIAN

AUDIT : SURBHI BANSAL

IT SM : DINESH MADAN SIR'S NOTES

(PAST YEAR QUESTION PAPERS FOR EACH SUBJECT TOO)

(Note: Will be giving my first attempt in NOV 2013, put I am planning to attempt only LAW, TAX, AUDIT and IT SM papers, was not able not able to attend classes for the other subjects. I will be attempting for all the papers again in MAY 2014)

IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH????

If you are planning to attempt few subjects only i wont advise you to do same. Prepare fully and give an attempt in May 2014

you mean to say I must not give the NOV 13 attempt.

Great to know that you are putting in a lot of effort. If you are grasping the concepts well, I think you stand a good chance of getting great marks.

my teachers say you should not miss any eligible attempt

so i would advise you the same

as far as your case is you can easily clear group 2, by just working on adv a/c

since time is less ,you may prepare only for imp chap. luckily you may even clear this group

I agree with ali you should not let go any attempt, especialy if you are prepared. I dont want to scare you but there have been instances where people have surrendered a group passed( in the earlier patterns where you get the option to surrender the group passed) inorder to get a rank and failed to even clear the groups.
