Is there any full proof of receipt of sms of banking ?

HI, Normally we do get sms alerts of banking transactions. But is there any full proof in mechanism or automated process, that the sms is received by the user. If internet or tower signal is down, most of the transactions are not received by the users. Is there any full proof, that sms is resent to the users in those times also,  ( a system of verifying that the user ultimately gets the alert)? I ask this query because, sometimes we do not know the transactions at all , if we do not update the passbook? I am asking as a normal procedure question

Hi, why no reply to the pertinent question. Do banks have any automated system of confirming whether the banking transactions message is reached the user of the transaction, if there is internet interupption or other things .Sometimes, the banking transcation would have taken place, but i would not receive the sms on it.. When somebody uses your card and if you do not receive the sms, due to internet problem, does that not cause security issue, the user not knowing anything about the transcations.

is there any automated system check, that banks have , so that all the transactions are automatically sent to the users and a kind of message delivered confirmation?

There is automated message system whenever a transaction takes place but at present there is no counter check to ensure that message has surely been delivered.

Hi, Thank you that i receive a reply on this regard. Is it not a kind of security concern for the users of the cards, be it credit, debit or whatnot. Why banks are not insisted on this? If suppose, by phising and other things, if anybody's money is withdrawn in foreign countries and if the sms is not reached the users, how would one know that the transaction took place in the first instant.

There must be fulll proof system in sms alerts, in such a way that if a message is not received by the users on account of network , tower , or any other internet failures, then it should be sent and a kind of automated machinery to check that it reaches the users, when the internet failure or any other failure is rectified .

Digitisation is a welcome measure , but the risks are to be minimised is my concern for the laksh of people who are using atm and other modes of transaction. If you do not receive OTP, you are asked to touch the resend button, but what about if a user does not know that his money has been debited or credited. There should be a kind of automated machanism to be thought of by the banks to resend the sms if the user has not received the sms in the transaction time Is it not a serious matter

Yup, but the chances of such default are less.  There are much more serious issues which have high frequency but bank's are struggling to address them.  So perhaps it will take some time to focus on addressing issue of non deliverable sms.

Thanks for reply and concern. But the issue is not that much trivial to be not looked at. I myself experienced , no loss of money , but transaction miss of sms. It involves the mobile providers service tower and also the mobile users, but anyhow, if there is auto mechanism to check, then it will be full proof system. If any response comes then it will be appreciated by one and all
