is the aggregate of both groups taken as a one unit

I  observed that  some folks cleared  both groups  even though aggregate  in one group  is less then 200 but total( both group  ) is more then 400. Is it a new rule they introduced this year ?

No This is not a new rule. this is the advantage of writing both the groups at a time. it is said that an aggregate of 50% is required. It need not be a single group. If you write a group I of final, u hav to get 200 for passing the group I. But when you attempt both the groups you should get 400 in both the groups. It need not be 200 in group I and 200 in Group II. If u got 199 n group I and 201 in Group II You r passed. But when u attempted group I and got 199 u r failed.

oh ya this old rule every student should try to attempt both group

Thank you. I did not know as never appreared  both groups
