I want to know if service tax is applicable to lawyers on the fees they charge to their clients.

Lawyers services R not recognized as service under services tax,they R being paid for disservice...........LOL.

C.A, R lawyers in the fields of Accountancy,Auditing & Taxations,Similar services rendered by C.A,they should get exemptions in service tax..........................................................LOL

No As Quoted by Mr Chidmabram the dont give any services so they the out of Service Tax Net.
