Is it wise to go for dummy articleship?

Articleship is a mandatory requirement for all CA students. It has been seen over the past few years that some of the CA students go for dummy articleship. I don't know what the reason is but either they are misguided by their coaching centres or it may be their personal reason. Some of the coaching centres insist on focusing more on CA final studies rather than articleship. Such students may clear CA finals but when it comes to their job or practical application of their thetorical knowledge, they are next to nothing. The thing which matters is the quality of CA and not only being CA. When we hear that the CA profession is being reprehended by some people, it is just because of these students who doesn't get jobs or work at very less payroll. So according to me a dummy articleship is not a wise choice to be made. You should concentrate more on articleship. It is not that you won't get time for your studies and you may also refer to the past records, you will analyse that the students working as articles in Big4s are the ones who get ranks in finals. So, be your own judge and choose wisely.
