Well i need to ask that if a student gets exemption in any of his IPCC paper(60+) but fails in other papers. So on giving the next attempt is it mandatory for him to claim exemption. I mean can he give the paper again in next attempt(for better marks) inspite of holding exemption for the same??????

no it is not mandatory to claim exemption

you can withdraw the exemption availed

for that you need to submit the affidavit for such withdrawl

Once you withdraw your exemption you can never revert it

so be very careful
