Is it GST compulsory
if we are doing down to 5 lakh business ..does i need gst number or not

No Compulsory required to Register for GST if Turnover is less than 40 lakhs for Goods and 20 Lakhs for Services.
In case of goods and services both limit is 20 lakh
If you suppling goods inter-state , then registration is compulsory irrespective of the Turnover .
