Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether it's mandatory to declare share trading losses in your tax return, even if capital gains are not made. While not declaring a loss might not immediately halt processing or refund claims, it could lead to a notice from the tax authorities. It's generally advised to disclose any share trading losses to avoid potential future complications.
