Is excise duty applicable for this transaction?

I am a manufacturer. For cost effectiveness, I purchase goods from a vendor (Vendor A) and sell it to vendor (Vendor B) at cost price itself. Vendor B uses the material and sells me finished goods.

Is excise duty applicable on my sale of goods to Vendor B?

If the goods is one of your input and it is made rarely you can raise invoice as such cleared methed.  In this method you can take credit at the time of purchase and reversed at the time of invoice.  The same will take credit at your customer end as a manufacturer.

or

It is regular basis you treat as traded goods.  You can raise traded invoice to your customer.

Thanks Ananthakumar..
