I will be writing CA-CPT exams in june 2011 and for this is coaching required to clear the same. Well self-study be enough to pass CPT if yes how

It depends on each person's ability. I think the only new subject is CPT- Mercantile Law about which the students generally do not have any base before giving CPT.

i think if you have studied well in your higher secondary then it will be sufficient for you to crack cpt.the only thing you have to do is that self study the entire study materials provided by the institute.moreover make sure that you solve the questions given at back of your material from your own and pioint out the mistakes that you are commiting and make a note on all the mistakes you have done.try to work on those mistakes and try to lessen it.it will help you a lot.........

For self study of cpt study material is sufficient but want some easy alternate go with Accounts: Grewal accounting LAW: PPS GOGNA SIR Eco: S K AGARWAL SIR QA: ARORA & ARORA These all from sultan chand publication These r having more than enough question for practise.
