IS CAclubindia a professional website?

Members are interested in love stories, worthless jokes on gender and caste and worthless forums like how to impress a girl. Is there any one member who is interested in professional discussions here?. Should I delete my account and find some other professinal website where members have interest in professionalism?

Kishor the reason for such spamming is the reason that the active members in  CACLUB have been reduced  to only student and aspirants. Senior members like Ankur sir and Prakash sir have almost left the site. Nowadays, I find people,except a few, to be either CA aspirants or Students of IPCC the most. Finalists and other knowledgeable people are few and far between and that too with knowledge to deal with practical situations are far few. I have a policy to not to reply to faltu forums and give my best to professional queries only,but still they are there. But as Mr jha said i have no problems with jokes n all,but important queries should not be neglected.

How many points we get and how many thanks we have on our profile is totally irrelevant. This is not a yardstick to measure how clever we are. Anyone can earn points and thanks by spamming the forum and posting jokes by copying them from other websites. Even a children of 2 year can copy and paste jokes and sayries from other websites and become a top member. this is not relevant. The prime objective of surfing this website should be to gain knowledge and earn points by making professional contribution that can help others. There are many websites for jokes and love stories. As the number of members increasing, the quality of this website is decreasing day by day. I have a fear that one day this website will lose its dignity totally. Moderators have written too many instructions everrywhere on this site like following, yet we are not getting success in maintaining professionalism on this website:

• Use thank button to convey your appreciation.
• Maintain professionalism while posting and replying to topics.
• Try to add value with your each post.

Previously i raised the same..at that time somany of our memebrs had supported it..but now dude to non availability of seniors everything is going wrong...

 very true......i completely agree.....but a few days back even you had posted a topic titled something like 'magic of java'  which was related to hacking activity......i dont think that was professional.........it was a fun joke and NOT  related to CA/CS/CMA

many times i have posted professional queries but i am sorry to say that i am  getting replies only from one or two members and somrtimes after two or three days, though at any point of time u see thousands of members remain online

@ venkat  >>> A special section is provided on CAclubindia for posting discussions about information technology. Information Technology is a subject of CA PCC and Final. A professional is also required to have knowledge of information technology. Java is a subject of BSC and MSC level courses and it is nothing wrong if members come to know what can be done on internet using java language. Thus that topic was a professional one. As against this, the topic on Sayries and Love are not any subjects and they are worthless topics. CAclubindia has provided section Other > Humour, but this section is for posting light professional jokes and not jokes on gender and caste and for posting sayries.

I am not claiming that I am a pure professional and against the humour.  Moreover, I dont need members to resolve my queries  if they cant. I have many other methods to resolve queries online and offline. The objective of posting this forum is just to convey a message to the members that they should give priority to professional discussions along with other activities.

As far as the topic of hacking is concerned, security related issues have increased today due to increasing usage of internet for commercial trade and professional are also required to possess knowledge of what is hacking and what hackers can do and how to protect from them. Hacking is also covered in in CA Final ISCA Subject.

Each and every query can not be resolved here since no one can become or say that "I am an expert"  in respective field.....They just form an opinion........to take Decision is solely depend upon oneself............It's better to go for google search as u get more reliable information from there........ I try to do this.....If I am unable to get my answers, at last I put my query here.........Be independent rather to become dependent on others,,,,,,,,,

nowadays all most all senior members are using cci very rarely..and persona like ankur bayya left cci..we have to try our best to give them back to cci...
