Ipce nov 2011

I am an ipcc student, eligible to write the exam in nov. However, due to personal reasons,I was unable to keep pace with my studies for the past 4 months. My query is:does it register as an attempt if I apply for the exam but do not appear for it?In such a case, does it matter which group I have applied for?

Thanks in advance

I think once u have registered,it'll be counted as ur 1 attempt whether u were present or absent at the examination. but dear,u just go for it and write whatever u know in the respective papers.who knows,u can get exemption in any paper and next time u'll nt have to do it.but for that u have to be present througout the exam. good luck.
