dear all ,

My son is having taxation book given by icai for the assasment year 2009-2010 as ammended by finance act 2008. whether this is sufficient for may 2011 exam or do i have to purchase some thing more for may 2011 exam.

please help

Puchase a latest new.You will find lot of amendments in tax in new and read ICAI notification with relation to the May 2011 exam.

No sir, as your son is writing his exams in may 2011 the assesment year applicable for his exams would be 11-12 and the institute material is AY 09-10 so please purchase some other book available in the market........

I would suggest TN Manoharan book... Or else you can buy or download the amendments applicable fot the exam.
