First of all, understand that the SM module covers nly 50 marks of the paper, of which around 16 marks shall be case study.
A lot depends on the case study. As far as leaving chapters from the syallabus is concerned, I would advise against it.
Study the TOWS matrix, BCG model etc. perfectly.
