Invitation to Contribute Articles on Bank Audit for The Chartered Accountant Journal of the ICAI - (14-12-2010)

The Editorial Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has decided to put special focus on the theme ‘Bank Audit’ in the February 2011 issue of The Chartered Accountant journal.

As such authors and experts in the field are invited to contribute articles on different aspects of Bank Audit, particularly the following:

Overview of Bank Branch Audit
Audit of Investments in Bank
Audit of Treasury Operations in a Bank
Audit of Advances with special reference to Prudential Norms
Conducting Statutory Branch Audit in CBS Environment
Long Form Audit Report
Disclosures in Financial Statements of a Bank
Role of Audit Committee in ensuring good corporate governance practices in banks

The articles of not more than 3000 words (original and not having been published of hosted anywhere else) with executive summary and authors photographs should be sent at eboard @ icai.org or journal.ca @ gmail.com latest by 30th December 2010. The authors also required a declaration of originality along with the ariticles.
